A barcode label in a second
This is how product and box labels are printed at my company. Change the name or the article, press Print, and you get a label for the printer or a PDF. It all runs in the browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
In the print dialog: margins — None, scale — 100 %, paper — the label size. Without a printer choose Save as PDF: the page size is already set.
What is real here
The label and the barcode. The Code 128 is built from the article right in your browser, and any scanner will read it. The Print button hands the browser a page of exactly the label's size, for a thermal printer or a PDF. This is the same generator that prints the labels in my own warehouse, in the site's colours.
What is not here
The fields. At my company nobody types a name, an article and a quantity: the labels print from the delivery note, together with the waybill, the e-documents and the email to the customer, in one click. The fields are here only so you can play with the sample. The whole chain is in the shipping demo and in the case “Shipping in a few clicks”.
How it would work for you
The data comes from your accounting system, the same data already on the delivery note or the order. Any printer will do: a 203 dpi thermal printer such as a TSC or a Zebra, or, without one, an ordinary office printer onto a sheet. The size and the look of the label follow your goods: per box, per unit, per pallet, with your logo or without.
