Business Automation

About me

About me

Behind the counter, then B2B sales, then my own business. The routine got old, so I learned to code and automated it. Now we do the same for other trading companies.

The road here

Trade since 2004. Eight years running a department at a chain of DIY hypermarkets: retail, lighting and electrical. At first I stood behind the counter myself; later my people did. That is where the understanding comes from — how the warehouse, the till and returns actually work, and why a sales assistant does what they do. Which is why retail is not a different world to me: a chain of shops, a single shop with a stockroom or a shop on a marketplace all run the same routine as wholesale, under different names.

B2B sales since 2013. Eight years as a product manager for a German manufacturer of welding equipment: dealers, specifications, and quotations put together by hand.

My own business since 2016. Wholesale of industrial equipment plus e-commerce. This is where it became clear how much time the routine eats: orders, documents, waybills, the bank, reports. And that no contractor would build it the way we actually needed it.

Development since 2022. I learned to code in order to remove that routine from my own company: Python and Django, integrations with the accounting system, e-document services, carriers and the bank. Since 2023, alongside that, a data-labelling platform for machine learning: four interconnected services, over a hundred thousand annotations, AWS. So the backend is not a weekend project — it is the kind that holds up under load.

Now we do the same for other trading companies: wholesalers, retailers and online shops.

What I automated in my own company

Every case on this site comes from my company: shipping in a few clicks, a portal for partners, a bank statement that posts itself, documents from email, analytics on a phone. This is not a contractor's portfolio — it is what I use every day.

How we work

  • No intermediaries: you talk to the person who writes the code, not to a project manager.
  • The solution is written around your process. The cases on this site are examples of what already runs, not a box: half of those tasks did not exist in my company either, until they were needed.
  • First whatever saves the most time. The conversation and the audit are free.
  • The code, the access and the documentation are yours, on your servers or in your repository. The system runs without us, and any other developer can maintain it.
  • Your accounting system stays yours. We do not offer to move you off it — we connect to it.
  • The price is fixed in the plan — per stage, no hourly billing. There is no advance payment: we show you a finished stage, you accept it, then you pay and we move on. Contract, invoice, act.
  • We do not trumpet artificial intelligence. Where it is needed, we use it; where rules are enough, rules do the job.
